Wyndham Launches Hotel Pass: $499 For 30 Nights (Only 25 Passes Available)

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Wyndham has launched a hotel pass that costs $499 + tax and offers 30 nights of stays across thousands of hotels and resorts. Passes go on sale July 8, 2024 and must register by July 4, 2024

Our Verdict

Realistically you’re zero chance of actually getting one of these passes. Hopefully this is Wyndham just testing this concept and we see something more widely available that is more expensive in the future.

  • VERY interesting. (the sour grapes crowd - below -- of course will snarl at the word "wyndham"... and assume they're all sooo beneath them)

I was curious about their vacasa realm, but alas:

"The pass cannot be used for stays at Wyndham Concorde Isla Margarita, The H Hotel, the Bank of Montreal Institute for Learning, ECHO Suites, Vacasa or Cottages.com."

    • Right. To get any real value out of this -- more than just, say, signing up for a Wyndham Earner credit card -- you'd have to immediately be able to scrap your summer plans and take a whirlwind vacation to places where there are particularly good Wyndhams. That's not likely for 99% of potential winners. I'd also worry a bit about the tax implications of winning. They are treating this like a contest. From the rules, it doesn't sound like Wyndham would send you a 1099, but no way to be sure.

      • Why wouldn't you cancel your summer plans to go on a Whirldwind vacation sponsored by Wyndham? It's like stupid market sweep and I'd be all in

  • You couldn't pay me to go stay at a Wyndham. So trash! Maybe they have better ones outside of my area.

    • Take a look tmat the wyndham resorts in the coast of Spain (specifically costa del sol)

      • That one is not bad at all. I may need to look out Wyndham's outside of the US (particularly the south).

      • No point in arguing with biased strongly opinionated folks, I'd be just happy that the best hidden gems of the program aren't well known.

    • It's like a little drawing to collect info on people and also pilot test this as an idea for a real program
