They offered a similar promotion earlier in the year with no spend requirement. Some things to keep in mind:
- No fee to add an additional cardholder
- These authorized user accounts do count towards the Chase 5/24 rule
- SSN is required

I was not targeted. I used the link which did not explicitly state the offer, and it still worked.
Has anyone gotten their points? Mine have not come in. I added myself as an AU, so do you think that I could run into problems if I call AMEX?
No points posted for me either. Would also be curious to know if anyone has gotten them who used these links from a DOC post (this or the similar offers for other AMEX cards) rather having received the offer in an email from AMEX.
If anyone has seen the miles post to their account, how long did it take after you completed the required spend?
I just called AmEx, explained the offer and asked if it was available on my account. The rep couldn't find the offer on my account, so she offered to manually give me 2,500 points for adding a user. The point transfer should take 72 hours with no minimum spend. She also offered free rush shipping of the new card.
Does the Chase 5/24 rule affect the added authorized user or the main card holder? Thanks

It's definitely an offer, but it's targeted.
The $1K spend on the auth user card would go toward 25K bonus minimum spend too right? So the $1k auth user spend is counting twice (sorta)?
Is this offer just on the personal card or business as well?
Just personal from what I've seen, but I don't think new account holders are being targeted for this offer.
