- The Target GiftCard will be mailed in November 2021 to the address associated with the RedCard.
- “Eligible purchases” are purchases made with your RedCard at Target and Target.com minus credits, returns and adjustments.
- Eligible purchases do not include RedCard fees and interest charges, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, transactions not allowed by your Target RedCard Agreement, and purchases or reloads of gift cards or prepaid cards.
- A purchase made by an authorized user or joint account holder qualifies for this offer.
- Limit one Target GiftCard.
Our Verdict
Seems like not all RedCard holders are eligible for this bonus unfortunately. Fairly great deal if you are eligible.

Frank: On my end, I see this "Email offer deployed on 9/9 to guests who haven't used their RedCard in the last 90 days. Guests have until 10/17 to spend $50 or more with their RedCard to qualify [for the $25 gift card offer detailed above]. It's a targeted offer...can't trigger it via a backdoor.
Called in again and rep could not see any such promotion

Just called and they said the promo starts 9/12 and is for all target red cards. The rep recommended calling back in next week to confirm details if it was specifically on my account but seems to think it’s for all cards. Online it clearly says starts today though soo not sure exactly.
I guess it’s brand new promo and all reps don’t know exact details……will hold off on spending until I can confirm.

Buy an eligible item for $50 with a gift receipt. Return the item with the gift receipt and ask for store credit back. You now have $50 in Target credit, plus the bonus $25.
Please don't advocate committing fraud. So not cool.
You don't get the bonus right away if I am reading this right. Often that strategy doesn't work anyway. They just deduct the $25 from the refund.
How do you know if you’re eligible tho
I clicked the link and see a banner at the top showing the promo, but when I click on more details it doesn’t show anything.
From the banner, when I click on "Offer details below," it scrolls down to a section titled "RedCard benefits & program rules." There are several unrelated sections of information, but the last one says, "$25 gift card offer," and it contains all of the details (same information as in the DoC post).
I saw the same thing you described above if I'm NOT logged into my Red Card account. But if I logged into my Red Card account, then clicked on Deals--->Red Card Exclusives, it showed the same list of Red Card Benefits & Program rules, EXCEPT the last item (below no annual fee) is "RedCard $500 baby savings" instead of "$25 gift card offer". As such, I'm not going to take a chance on this.
