The Fine Print
- This discount is valid between 2pm and 5pm ET on Friday, August 3, 2018.
- It covers fees such as booking and busy area fees, but not food, drink, other order items, applicable taxes, or tips.
- The user must receive this email directly from Uber to be eligible and must apply the promo code in the app before completing their order.
- The promo code can be applied unlimited times during the promotional period.
Our Verdict
Originally I didn’t see the time restriction, it’s certainly less interesting with that in place but I know some readers like to use their American Express platinum credits for UberEats so at least this way you’re not paying a $5 fee.

Just got the email same pattern, just add a 3.
New codes seem to have a "2" added to the end (SUMMERFRIDAYET2).
Are you sure it's every Friday? Mine expired and won't let me add again.

You just have to place the order between 2-5pm but you can schedule ahead. I just had an order arrive for 7pm.

so dumb. u have to use the promo code each time u order on friday between those hrs? geez. i just put in the code and it instantly expired. didnt know WTF was up until i realized u have to use the code again each week. each order.
