Our Verdict

The nice thing about Barclays business cards is that they don’t report to your personal credit report, so it won’t count towards your 5/24 statusPersonal card is also 80,000 miles currently. These cards will continue after October 1, 2025. The spend requirement is ridiculous on this card though and I don’t think it’s worth considering so we won’t be adding this to our list of the best credit card bonuses

  • Love you all DoC but I think this is misleading. The 20k / 40k HA miles annual spend bonus is a feature of the card regardless of your sign up bonus and NOT a special, limited time offer. I got the HA biz at the old 70k SUB last year and my account shows the 20k / 40k annual spend bonus as a cardholder benefit.

  • This post title I would consider spam . Actual bonus 50k miles for $4000 spend is actual bonus. Also comes with a $99 fee. As I consider Alaskan miles to be worth 0.7 cpp. After the fee this is worth $250. LOL.

  • ughh, I was all excited when I saw the headline given they have upped the SUB on the personal card, but its tied to crazy spend. 140k after $100k spend is not a good return

    • Yeah the title should be changed. Reallly not sure why this was even posted as this has to be the worst sign up bonus on a credit card ever

      • I'd consider 50k miles on $4k spend standard, nothing to write home about but far from the worst ever

  • Not worth the spend to get extra 20-40k bonus. I don’t mind picking up this card for 50k only
