Citigold Adds $200/$400 Annual Benefit for Subscriptions to Amazon Prime, Costco, Spotify, Audible, Hulu, TSA Precheck, or Global Entry

Update 1/30/22: Audible is being removed as an option from 4/1/22.

Effective 4/1/2022, Audible will no longer be participating in the Subscription Rebate Program. Purchases and rebates before 4/1/2022 will still be reflected in your transaction history. Purchases and rebates on or after 4/1/2022 will not be rebated or reflected in your transaction history.

Citibank has added a $200 annual benefit for select subscriptions for those with Citigold relationship status. The following subscriptions are eligible: Amazon prime, Audible, Spotify, Hulu, TSA Precheck, Global Entry, Costco membership. Citigold is only available to those who have $200,000 on deposit or investments with Citi.

The benefit works on both monthly fees and annual fees. Renewals work too.

Pay for the subscription with your Citigold debit card and the cost will be rebated. You need to select the subscriptions you want and register before using the benefit. You can select of of the available options if you’d like, but there is a limit of $200 in annual rebates. You’ll see in your online login how much was used and how much remains.

The Fine Print

  • Must register by December 15th.
  • Any subscriptions purchased after 11:59 P.M. ET on December 30 will be counted toward your $200 allotment for the following calendar year.
  • The customer must have received a direct invitation from Citibank to participate in this program. Only the customer named in the invitation is eligible to participate to receive the rebates for subscriptions purchased on their Citigold Debit Card.
  • According to reader HR: The benefit is currently only for residents of NY, NJ and CT. Will roll-out to other states at a later date.
