New Signup Bonus: Capital One Quicksilver, Savor, VentureOne $100 Travel Credit + $300 Cash

Update 8/13/25: The referral offer now shows an additional $100 bonus for the referee after you make a payment (that’s aside from whatever the referrer gets). Altogether: $100 travel credit (towards hotels and vacation rentals) + $100 after making a minimum payment + $200 after meeting the signup bonus.

The Offer

Quicksilver | Savor | VentureOne

  • Capital One released a new signup bonus today on the Quicksilver and Savor cards:
    • LIMITED-TIME OFFER: Enjoy a $100 credit to use towards flights, stays and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel during your first cardholder year. Plus, earn a $200 cash bonus once you spend $500 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening.
    • Same offer on the VentureOne card with 20,000 points after $500 spend, plus the $100 travel credit.

The cards all have no annual fee and all come with 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers for 15 months. (Balance transfers have 3-4% transfer fees.)

Our Verdict

The signup bonuses on these cards are typically $150 or $200. We have seen brief occasions of $250 as well. The new offer with an instant $100 Travel Credit and another $200 cash should be interesting for a lot of people, especially those who struggle meeting the larger spend requirements other signup bonus offers often have.

Note: the offer on VentureOne isn’t the best we’ve seen as it was 40,000 points in 2023.

As always, remember Capital One with pull all 3 bureaus. See these Things To Know About Capital One Credit Cards before applying. We’ll add this to our list of Best Current Credit Card Signup Bonuses.

  • I don't know why I even checked, but I was approved for a Savor with $200/$100 and a decent credit limit.
There's no way they should have approved it, IF you believe the Cap1 rules floating around the web. That's my 3rd personal card with them (Venture, Venture X), my last card with them was opened less than 4 months ago, and I JUST got an Amex Gold and BoA Alaska two weeks ago. They must really be trying to expand.
Since I'm blackballed by Chase (12 years and counting), I'll take all the other miles I can get! LOL

  • screw you, capital one!
i tried to use a reddit referrer, 100$ referral, 100$ travel credit, 200$ bonus, when i click on to see if you preapproved, it shows i approved for good credit with NO sign up bonus!
so i withdraw all my money from their saving account of 115$, no i'm not poor, i withdrawal most of the money last time (for the saving bonus of 300 or 200, forgot which one). my credit score is like 835.

  • I just got a "limited-time offer" of 300$ portal travel credit on top of the usual 75k for 4,000 spent on the Venture rewards card through a referral link. Not sure if this is a new offer or not but figured I should share it since it's quite a good amount of value for a 95$ card.

  • DPs on Reddit indicating there’re additional $50 or $100 sign-up bonus options when applying through a referral link and making a minimum payment within the first three months, effectively making the SUB for the QS and the Savor $350 or $400 for $500 spend in the first three months.

  • I just closed the Venture X last week after two years as I am not finding more value as I am into Chase ecosystem and have CSR. The Savor One offer is tempting, and a keeper card.

    • Classic Cap One. Showing only the Good Credit Savor One variant as pre-approved with no welcome bonus.

  • Is there a way to message Doc about deal update? The capital one spark cash deal that ended yesterday $1500 on $15k spend, now has $1000 on $10 spend, i think this is better because of less spend in 3 months... Not sure if this is a good deal.

  • Think the $100 travel credit can be stacked with existing C1 points/rewards cash in their travel portal? Can’t find any language in the offer on the c1 site.

    • It can. It’s just a $100 off credit at checkout then it ask if and how many points you’d like to use on this purchase.

  • Quicksilver (and the secured cards) are like the only thing Capital One's pre-qualifier tool will ever even think about suggesting... even when below 5/24 (I know, that's Chase), Venture X is always a 'no.' Anyone recommend anything, other than waiting for 0/24? Was hoping to someday get to try the new Capital One lounge at JFK T4...

    • Capital One favors people who will use the card a good bit, maybe carry a balance from time to time. They don't want the savvy optimizers that many DoC readers probably are.

So aside from looking at recent new accounts and inquiries, I think they are also sensitive to having lots of credit cards in total (especially if those aren't getting much use).

The pitiful prequalification seem like their way of denying without denying: "Sure, you can have a card! How about a secured card with an annual fee and no bonus to acknowledge your 800 credit score?"

    • Same here but I think that was $300 statement credit, this seems worse with breaking it out.

But it doesn't matter anyway for me, they have never approved me for a personal Cap 1 card.

      • With them just acquiring discover and I’m growth mode …i’d try again. I was approved this week about 2 years of denials for C1 credit cards
