Recap: Amazon Prime Lawsuit, Avianca Lifesaver Aid & More

  • Finally positive news about Avianca! They can come in handy for certain flight routes, especially in Central and South America.

  • I paid my membership to get 2 days shipping and it has become 1 month shipping. The way they determined essential items are stupid as well.

  • I was able to get car liners delivered in 2 days from Walmart compared to 30 days estimate from Amazon with Prime. That was outrageous from the company I am giving my money to get faster shipping. However, I later realized Prime does not want me to spend $35 to get free shipping to my door, and 30 days estimate was more like 10 days.

    • Obviously. Which is why it’ll be settled for “better disclosures” and a nice fee for the law firm. Shits a scam for the lawyers

  • It's like Amazon stopped and the rest of the world moved on as normal, right? I bet people watched fewer movies too. 🙄

  • To be fair, the shipping delays were, and still are, happening today in most companies. Amazon should have been smart enough to encourage slow shipping for digital credits instead of all but eliminating them. Or should have offered a percent or two discount to Prime members for “non essential” items that were going to take 10 days instead of 2. But they weren’t.

Plus, Amazon folded their Amazon Fresh subscription into Prime before all this happened, a move they probably regret given they probably would have had thousands of members paying the 14.99 monthly subscription price.
