Although this Simon card doesn't interest me, it's encouraging to see they're trying new things.
Expand on this idea, there are possibilities.
What if there were a reloadable gift card, that we could reload from a web portal?
And it has been suggested that Simon could start selling money orders... One stop shopping.
Hey, a guy can dream...
"reload from a web portal"
An inconspicuous portal that sells high-priced items OTHER than gift cards. Site shouldn't have "gift card" in the name.
The problem with that is the interchange fee is where the $$ is lost -- SM would pay like $12 to process your MO purchase
Absolutely agree with you.
I wonder what kinds of criminals will go to Walmart to liquidate GC. I was almost treated like or suspected as one when I tried to liquidate two $500 GC.
Other than inside jobs, I am not able to see how the fraud can be carried out repeatedly and widely.
