  • There was a time when Uber paid a fair amount to drivers? Like a wage, or higher proportion of the cost of the ride? Were they always 'contractors' though?

    • Higher proportion of the cost, plus rides themselves were more expensive. They were still contractors

  • There's a local coffee shop that uses the Belly app for loyalty points, and you can check in by scanning the QR code without even making a purchase. So, free coffee (but I think it only gives points once per day, so it'll take around 8 days to get each coffee).

  • I don't know ... if "just a soda" assuming it was a soda fountain counted as a visit, that's the high-profit item. 25 of those probably is net profitable even if you give away a sub.
