There is a rumor circulating that the American Express Platinum will add two new credits:
- $300 in Lululemon credits ($75 per quarter)
- $400 in Resy credits
American Express already leaked that the Platinum card will have a new $600 FHR credit ($300 semi annual). There has also been rumors that the Platinum annual fee will increase to $895 and have a mirror finish. I suspect the Lululemon & Resy credits would replace Saks and Equinox credits, but that is just speculation on my part. These new credits with the FHR credit would turn this into a keeper card for me assuming the $895 annual fee is accurate, hopefully it launches with a large sign up bonus/no lifetime language.

So overpriced spandex and an overpriced meal plan. Great lol.
Well, increased AF and coupons I don't need. At least they are make it feeling good to cancel after some many years
Lululemon are worthless to me but I can work with the resy and FHR credits
Wish they would just make the card more expensive, so the lounges would be less crowded... there's nothing elite about credits.
thats def the plan. amex is not stupid. theyre playing the long game. slow rollout. amex had 5/24, PUJ, lifetime SUB, card offers, founders of the coupon book and airport lounges way before chase.
amex plat will def be over $1k AF in a few years and cent lounges just put back beef. hopefully this means glory days of cent lounge.
looks like they are letting chase bleed money first. all banks know fancy lounges for plebs is not sustainable. thats why DL made huge lounge cuts back in 2023, but pitchforks came out. so cat is out. we know where this is going.
higher AF. more lounge restrictions. no more unlimited visits unless $75k spend. etc.
argh. fuck.
got terrible service and side eye for being the "suspicious gamer guy" at saks. now im gonna be "creeper gamer guy" at lulu.
gonna split it w/ a yoga hottie. make her do that shit instead of me.
I agree that many of these new credits, if true, are not necessarily helpful to some of us as card members; however, you can express those sentiments without violating the comment rules.
You did ‘check the box’ before posting. Recall “Be respectful: Avoid insults, personal attacks, and offensive language. Homophobia, racism, sexism, antisemitic comments are all strictly banned.“
Your comment likely violates two of the rules:
1. Offensive language. (F-word. S-word.)
2. Sexism. (You imply that you will make women do the thing(s) you don’t want to do.)
Had to remind someone who went by ‘andy’ on here before, as well as on another Amex post; some will choose to ‘shoot the messenger,’ which is also a shame. C’mon folks, we can do better.
"the source is not reliable"
Here's hoping that the Lululemon credits work at the cafes inside the flagship stores.
Did not know that was even a thing

Cant wait to buy $75 worth of Lulu gift cards and selling them for cash, seems like a keeper to me if I can get $100-200 in cash.
You mean there's anyone who'd buy a Lulu gift card from you for cash at face value?????
Is the Business Platinum getting the $300 per 6 months FHR credit too?
According to the terms that were up temporarily, it will be added.
Don’t tease me with actual useful credits
You mean there's a limit on how many $50 pairs of socks you need?
