- You need to spend $5+ on the shopping trip to be eligible for the bonus.
- You need to earn 25+ Swagbucks from the shopping trip to be eligible for the bonus.
Lots of top merchants are showing as eligible for this offer, including Amazon, eBay, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Groupon, Macy’s, JCPenney, QVC, Sam’s Club, Hotels.com, Expedia and more.
The Fine Print
- Expires 8/19/19 (there’s a conflicting terms here which states 8/1/19)
- You’ll receive your Bonus when the SB credit for your qualifying purchase
- MyGiftCardsPlus and Travel Purchases are excluded from this promotion
Our Verdict
I noticed this offer in my Swagbucks account under ‘Shop’ and ‘Recommended For You’ and on the individual pages of many retailers. Presumably it’s available for all Swagbucks users. Update: apparently, it’s targeted.
It’s not clear to me whether we can get $5 multiple times by shopping by each of these eligible merchants or if there’s one opportunity to earn $5 by shopping at one of these. If anyone finds a landing page with clearer details, kindly share it.

I have bonus for $10 back when I spend $25 through the UPromise portal. Not sure when it started, but it expires June 18th. I received $10 in January for spending $75 on the same account in a similar offer.
I do not see anything similar on any of my other Prodege accounts.

MyPoints had something similar in Nov and maybe still. It now shows up in My Bonuses, and I activated it, perhaps from some homepage link. I think it was $50 minimum when I activated it. MyPoints said $5 as well, rather than quoting it in points. Not the clearest offer in the world and I will not be surprised it if does not work. But I just clicked on my bonuses and it says I have 800 points pending. Those points don't show up in the normal activity area.
I am also seeing the "spend $75, get $5" bonus in my MyPoints account. (Awarded as 790 bonus points.)

Not sure if this is just me, but my Swag Up is showing a minimum purchase of $75 (this was also in the e-mail sent to me).
