Will They Match This Offer
If you can give them the offer code and invitation number that is linked to your account (and on the targeted mailer), then Chase will match this offer. It is possible to get matched to the 30,000/$300 in branch offer as well.
Our Verdict
If you received this offer and are at or over 5/24 then I’d recommend seeing if you’re pre-approved in branch, applying for the lower bonus on this card and then asking to be matched. It’s a bit more effort, but I think you’ll be a better chance of being approved. The sign up bonus on this card is normally $200/20,000 points after $3,000 in spend within the first three months. There was also a similar but higher targeted bonus on the Chase Ink Plus for $1,000/100,000 points.

I was targeted for this offer and I'm trying to figure out a decent game plan.
I have Chase Ink+ already. My goal is to have CSR and Ink Cash.
I am exactly at 5/24 - I drop to 4/24 in mid-November and stay there for seven months.
From what I am reading here, does it make sense to go into a branch, and if I'm preapproved for both CSR and Ink Cash, apply for both at once?
I assume there's a decent chance I'm preapproved for Ink Cash if I was targeted - if I'm not pre-approved for CSR, should I wait until November, apply then, and downgrade my Ink+ to Ink Cash at that time (losing the bonus)?
Or is it silly to lose a bird in hand?
1. Go in branch, see if preapproved for both. If yes, apply for both.
2. If not, wait till you're under 5/24 and then go back in and see if you're pre-approved for either card. If you are, apply for the other card first and then the card you are pre-approved for.
Hope that helps. Also make sure to asked to be matched to this $500 offer as the in branch offer is only $300.
It does help - thank you!
