[Targeted] Chase United MileagePlus Explorer Sign Up Bonus Of 60,000 Miles + $100

Now offering a $100 statement credit instead of $50. Still not attractive given the recent 70,000 mile offer.

Our Verdict

Recently the targeted sign up bonus has been 70,000 miles + $50 (you can almost always get the extra $50 by doing a dummy booking). That means that this new offer is actually a downgrade. Personally I’d wait it out for a 70,000 mile offer, but most people won’t be eligible regardless of the sign up bonus due to the Chase 5/24 rule. Public bonus seems to be at 40,000 miles (was it 50,000 before? Wasn’t really paying attention). Before applying for this card or asking basic questions regarding Chase credit cards, please read this post first. You can view what we think are the best current bonuses here.
