United 15x per Dollar at Neiman and Other Stores

Via Milestomemories, the United Mileage shopping portal is offering 15x per dollar today only on select retailers including Neiman Marcus. This offer ends at midnight ET on 1/22.

  • I got the bonus Alaska points for Neiman Marcus gc purchase several days ago but today they clawed them all back. did this happen to anyone else?

    • i got in on the 15x and my alaska miles got clawed back the other day too.

      this is what happens when loopholes get too popular.. :(

  • umm, did the neiman marcus amex offfer just expire? Or did they just disappear from my cards in the last 24 hours?

    • The valuable ones will usually disappear from your "Available" offers list before the stated expiration date. Which is why you always want to save them to your "Added to Card" list if you think there's even a chance you may actually use the offer eventually.
      Unless you're talking about the offer disappearing from your "Added to Card" list before you used it. Now that would not be good and the first I've ever heard of that happening. Hope that's not the case.

      • this exactly. I absolutely saved the offer on 2 cards, was still there yesterday when alaska deal was up, but I didn't jump. Now united is up (gone now, technically), went back into my amex offers, and neiman marcus is nowhere to be found.

    • Have you (or anyone else) tried to see if the 'NM gift card' exclusion doesn't actually trigger on this promo? That'd be a nice way to stack the other offers…

  • The terms state:
    "Not eligible on gift cards, gift certificates or any other similar cash equivalents."

    Any DPs to the contrary would be much appreciated.

    • DP: $200 e gift card from Neiman purchased on 1/22 is showing as 3000 miles in my MileagePlus account

  • Tried it out with $200 in eGC purchases from Neiman. Will see if it works. Not holding my breath.

  • Rite Aid has 5 off 25 for Gap/BR/Old navy gift cards. Yea its only 50 bucks, but if you have actual shopping to do on these sites it makes this deal even better
