My 15x points on NM also got clawed back today. Damn. Thankfully the Amex $50 offer survived (though there never was any GC related exclusions in the terms). After unloading these via cardpool I’m now up just $17 sans points.. Can’t win big on them all I guess.
Yeah, all my miles have been clawed back as well. Fortunately (maybe), my TCB transactions are still showing. I’m glad I did some TCB before the AS 15x came out.
All the miles were posted and couple of days later everything was taken back. Same thing happened at the end of last year with Staples gift card purchase. Initially given miles and then all miles are reversed. Alaska does NOT work for gift cards. I won’t bother to even try in the future.
mine all posted on 1.20 (showed +3000 each) and were ALL clawed back (-3000) on 1.26, shit.
All of my Alaska miles for NM gift card purchases have been reversed. They all tracked and posted originally, but today (1/27) all have been reversed.

All purchases of GC have been posted into my AS account (went pending in AS shopping mall on 1/22, posted today 1/26). Ironically, I had another real purchase that was not tracked in AS shopping mall.
I can see my “Store visits” on the mileageplanshopping website, however, none of the purchases have tracked yet for the Jan 20 transactions.
same with me. I ordered a lot of virtual gift cards on the 20th but none of my Alaska portal points have tracked but I do see the “store visits” as well. I’m checking like 5 times a day since I went in pretty big. I’m hoping that mine start to show within a couple of days. Anyone have any idea why some people’s track sooner than others?
My guess would be that because you and me went big, these transactions are going through some kind of a manual review. Hopefully will post in the end.
If you are right about the manual review then I’m not very hopeful that these miles will post. Damn.
I am hoping that as long as NM reports the transactions as valid to Cartera, Cartera will award the miles.

I bought 126 and still none of them have tracked. I’ll end up making around 10 bucks a card so not losing money but it took me so much time that it’s not worth the effort if I don’t get the miles

All my portal purchases tracked! Between myself, wife, mom and dad, we have 31 AMEX cards (many are AU cards) with this offer. 9 from TCP, 2 from ShopAtHome, 1 from AA (to get the 500 bonus, before AS released portal), and 19 from AS 15x. Of course, I still haven’t gotten most of the actual gift cards…
