    • 150,000 points after $15,000 in spend
    • 200,000 points after $15,000 in spend

  • Annual fee of $695 is not waived the first year

    • 5x points per $1 spent on purchases made with airlines or hotels booked directly from AmericanExpress Travel website

Our Verdict

Not as good as the 250,000 offer that is still showing. The advantage to this offer is that it doesn’t have lifetime language so you can get the bonus even if you’ve had the card before. High annual fee but the lounge benefits can be worth it for some people, especially when it comes with this healthy of a sign up bonus.

    this is what it says on the hilton website I cant buy gift cards to meet the 50 dollar benefit on the business platinum any idea how to do it can I go to a hilton hotel and buy hilton gift cards?

    • Gift cards no. What many have been doing is going to restaurants or shops or Starbucks inside of Hilton hotels and buying stuff there to use the credit.

    Active business account with AMEX for online sales and other active side gigs. Also have a 1 AMEX blue cash and 1 Business Hilton for the last 2 years both with active monthly spend. Also have a business checking account holding around $2k in it monthly.

    Saw the 200,000 business plat offer when I logged in when curious about cards. I closed a personal platinum in June of 2017 8 years ago. Added a little information for this business card, clicked submit, and received "you are not eligible for this offer". Come'on MFs, why even show it then?

  • I got 150K points for $20K spend over 3 months. If they extended this for four months I probably would take it. But for me, $20K is marginal.
