We’ve discussed Uber Plus before, basically you pay a fixed amount and receive cheap Uber Pool/UberX rides for the month (up to a limit). These passes will be available again starting at 10AM PST tomorrow (5/3), I assume this will only be selected users as well (make sure your app has been fully updated, if you still don’t get the option then it seems like you are not targeted. If you get the option of being notified when it comes back, I’d recommend selecting that).
I don’t know what the prices will be apart from LA and for LA they will be as follows for the next 28 days:
- 20 rides for $10 activation fee
- Unlimited rides for $20 activation fee
- UberPool for $2.99
- Uberx For $5.99
- Up to $25 maximum (if your ride goes to $26 you’ll pay $1 plus $2.99 for pool and $5.99 for X)
Here are the links for cities that have these passes available:
You can’t use your American Express Uber credits to buy the pass. You can use the credits to pay for your discounted rides. If anybody got the e-mail from other cities, it would be great if you could let us know if the sale times are the same or not.

San Francisco can be purchased in app, but that link no longer works.
I got it in San Diego through the app as well, even though I couldn't get any browser to pull up the promotional page. It's awesome that this month is unlimited rides for the pass!
Do you have a link?
No, links don't work. Open the app, click the menu button, click rider pass and you can purchase it there.
Can you take a screenshot for us, Alex?
Emailed you the screenshots
Thank you :).
The Seattle link is giving a 404 error message as of now.
Uber is an awful company that takes no responsibility for any of their actions. I'll use them for the $15 a month I get from AMEX but Lyft has my business otherwise. I've had nothing but problems with Uber.
I have nothing but problems with Lyft. Everytime I request a car with them it takes much longer than it should. Last time at the airport it took over 6 minutes and was still searching for a car, so I just ended up cancelling and went back to Uber.
I use Uber everytime except when T-Mobile gives me free credit on T-Mobile Tuesdays and only when I'm not in a rush.
A lot of the links don't work? New links?
Possibly, or might not be offering passes in those cities?
Lot of links like SF, Seattle and San Diego are down but some like LA and NYC are still working.
Are they updating something in the background or changed the links?
LA resident checking in here. Received the email yesterday from Uber, tried to purchase it at 10 PST now but it says Sorry, they're not available. Seriously Uber?
Given up with these arseholes and their selective distribution of passes. You might also want to grammar check your final paragraph.
I'm new to this, is this worth it if i'm visiting NYC Thurs-Monday?
I planned on taking an Uber from LGA to Times Square on Thursday & then back to LGA on Monday.
So I imagine both those rides will be $15+ normally.
And you can't use them to go to/from NYC airports.
You can get it from right outside the airport. So I would suggest to get out of the airport then get the flat fare.
Usually you can't get these promos if you're from out of town.
