The Offer

Check your AmEx Offers for the following deal:

  • Earn a one-time $50 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Business Card to spend a minimum of $200 in one or more qualifying purchases in-store at participating Lowe’s or online at lowes.com by 3/31/2025.

The Fine Print

  • Eligible Card Members must first add offer to Card by 3/21/2025 and then use same Card for qualifying spend by 3/31/2025.
  • Only US-issued American Express® Business Cards are eligible.
  • Limit of 1 statement credit per eligible Card Member account. If the Card Account is canceled or past due, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit.
  • Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US. See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas.
  • Excludes outlets, e-gift cards, and corporate gift cards.
  • Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
  • Offer only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on purchases made using third parties, such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries.

Our Verdict

This is a nice discount. In the past, I’ve used similar offers in Lowe’s stores to buy gift cards for various third party retailers. They may even have Visa gift cards as well.

Note again the small timeframe with this offer: must enroll by March 21, 2025 and the offer expires on March 31, 2025.

  • Just got another Lowes offer on my AMEX personal cash magnet card. Spend $100 or more, earn $25 back, up to 2 times (total of $50). This is the 2nd time I've gotten this/similar offer within the last 6 months. @2

  • Does this work on multiple cards? I used CardPointers Pro and it added the offer on all 4 of my Amex Business cards. So could I use all 4 cards (I'm assuming each card is a different account??) to get the discount/offer 4x? Stupid question, I know, but typically when you activate an offer with Amex, it's only good for that one card.

    • So this does work for multiple, BTW. I verified CardPointers added the offer to my 4 Business cards. Used my two Blue (one BPP and BPC) yesterday, got the emails from Amex and credit posted overnight. Today, used my Gold and Plat (both business cards). Haven't gotten email yet, but apparently that's not unusual.

    • I bought one at Lowes with the offer, no issues registering. What’s it saying when you try?

        • Yes I did for both my Lowes purchases (one Visa and a second trip for other GCs). They both came within 30 minutes of purchases.

          • Haven't received email from Amex yet, but then again this is a new Bus Plat. card I got less than 3 weeks old. None of my credits (Dell, airline, wirelss) have hit yet.

          • Amex offer emails are hit or miss in my experience. My two Lowes purchases were on 3/17 and 3/18 and have gotten the credits. Normally I don't get them that quickly. Neither card is a Biz Plat, both are Simply Cash.

      • I forgot. I ended up calling Visa support and I confirmed the balance. They also registered it for me. The issue somehow went away after using a new browser.

  • I bought $3k worth of Lowes gift cards at Staples with my Chase Ink card, earning 5 points per dollar, then used them to buy my Generator at Lowes, ta-da

  • Whats the most you can buy at single transaction self-service without alerting customer service?

  • If I would’ve known they’d be offering this every couple of months, I probably would’ve kept my Gold and Platinum business cards.

  • Saved it on SimplyCash card earlier today -- purchased $200 worth of Amazon/eBay in store (they were out of gas cards) and got a confirmation email about half hour later
