Our Verdict

Initially, Apple Card didn’t offer any signup bonus, then we saw them do $50 bonuses at a specific partners like Walgreen’s or Panera Bread. This $75 offer is the highest ever, though personally I’d find the Walgreen’s offer, for example, more appealing since it’s easy to spend $50 there on a gift card or whatnot.

Update History:

  • Update 10/22/23: The $100 offer is no longer available. $75 offer after first purchase came back and is valid through 1/16/24. (ht Albert)
  • Update 8/14/23: $75 bonus is back through September 12th at this link. (ht USCCG)
  • Update 6/2/23: The $75 cashback offer (after any purchase) is still around through June 6th. There’s also a new $75 Ace Hardware offer through June 30th after spending $75 Ace Hardware – Direct Link. (ht Celia) Based on prior reader experiences, it’s seems likely that you can get both of these $75 bonuses by signing up via the cash offer and then doing a $75 purchase at Ace Hardware; see these comments: 1, 2
  • Update 5/24/23: They sent this out again via email, here’s the new offer link. I believe the link would work for anyone. Valid through May 31st. Another update: a reader notes there’s a better offer for $75 cashback with any purchase by June 6th – Direct Link. One reader reports somehow getting both promos to stack.
  • Update 9/18/22: Deal is back for $75 cashback with $75 Nike purchase. Valid through 10/15/22. You’ll also get 6% back at Nike through 10/15/22. (ht usccs) Some people have an offer via Credit Karma for $100. Update 10/16/21: Deal is back and valid until 11/13/21. Hat tip to reader Simon B

  • Has anything changed about this card like the issuing bank?
Last time, about 6-8 months back, I applied, they insisted that I provide a copy of my DL which I dont have.

Saw a $200 offer on CK this time and applied and it went through with no hassle but they gave me only a $5k limit, not that I am going to use this card anyways

  • I keep getting denied for this card. It says too many inquiries. I have 2/12 inquiries.

    • Sign up for CK, they show what are your chances of approval for particular cards and are generally pretty good at that. @guest_1774692
Only apply when it says outstanding chances

  • Anyone know when the $250 Apple Cash posts after meeting the $2.5k spend requirement? It’s been about a week and still waiting.

  • Is the $250 credit karma bonus still there? Can someone share a link of it if it's possible? Thanks a lot!

  • 250 for 2.5k spend came up on CK for me. Approval odds are outstanding and if I’m not approved, it doesn’t impact my credit, which is nice. I might just jump on this.

  • Looks like there’s $250 offer as well thru CK

“Earn a $250 Welcome Bonus when you get a new Apple Card through Credit Karma by November 30th, and spend $2,500+ in your first 90 days.I”

  • Verdict should be updated to reflect the newer SUB that has been popping up more recently (as high $300 though that was targeted for a limited time) and some $200 public offers through third party like CreditKarma. Though for those higher bonuses, you have to spend a bit more
