Our Verdict
Initially, Apple Card didn’t offer any signup bonus, then we saw them do $50 bonuses at a specific partners like Walgreen’s or Panera Bread. This $75 offer is the highest ever, though personally I’d find the Walgreen’s offer, for example, more appealing since it’s easy to spend $50 there on a gift card or whatnot.
Update History:
- Update 6/2/23: The $75 cashback offer (after any purchase) is still around through June 6th. There’s also a new $75 Ace Hardware offer through June 30th after spending $75 Ace Hardware – Direct Link. (ht Celia) Based on prior reader experiences, it’s seems likely that you can get both of these $75 bonuses by signing up via the cash offer and then doing a $75 purchase at Ace Hardware; see these comments: 1, 2
- Update 5/24/23: They sent this out again via email, here’s the new offer link. I believe the link would work for anyone. Valid through May 31st. Another update: a reader notes there’s a better offer for $75 cashback with any purchase by June 6th – Direct Link. One reader reports somehow getting both promos to stack.
- Update 9/18/22: Deal is back for $75 cashback with $75 Nike purchase. Valid through 10/15/22. You’ll also get 6% back at Nike through 10/15/22. (ht usccs) Some people have an offer via Credit Karma for $100. Update 10/16/21: Deal is back and valid until 11/13/21. Hat tip to reader Simon B
This offer came up on Credit Karma: “Earn a $200 Welcome Bonus when you get a new Apple Card through Credit Karma by March 31st, and spend $2,000+ in your first 90 days.”
I don’t see the $75 offer anywhere on the linked page?
Is the offer over?
Jack When you click on the link in the update $75 offer after first purchase came back and is valid through 1/16/24.It says: When you apply using the link below and open a new Apple Card by January 16, 2024, we’ll give you $75 Daily Cash when you make your first purchase within 30 days
Wonder if they just updated page again recently? I don’t see anything at all about $75 on that page and even did a search page for “75” and nothing. Maybe I just missed the offer?
MB The offer still shows for me in Celia and the post links. Been debating whether to do it. The page starts out, It looks like you received an exclusive Apple Card invitation from a friend. Congratulations. Maybe you need to clear cache or maybe not eligible?
Nike? $500 pair of shoes. No thanks.
Wow, 75 bucks? Throw in a cool Apple sticker and I’ll gladly waste a 5/24 slot on this!
Anyone besides Chase have the 5/24? I have 2.5 years before I can get another Sapphire and already have had 5 inks the past 18 months.
Citi and US Bank can be sensitive but don’t have specific limits
Thanks.
BoA has 3/12 (no relationship) 7/12 (with relationship) agree I wouldn’t touch citi/us bank without being 0/6 if not 0/12
The signup bonus link works again in this link “Update 8/14/23: $75 bonus is back through September 12th at this link. (ht USCCG)”. When you apply using the link below and open a new Apple Card by January 16, 2024, we’ll give you $75 Daily Cash when you make your first purchase within 30 days.5
Thanks, I’ll repost
@chuck have you noted the 5% on $6000 Restaurant and/or 5% on $20,000 that people are being targeted with?
Maybe I’ll do a post tomorrow
if it’s helpful I can tell you that I received 5% back on my Restaurant spend on Monday, got the in-app notification on Tuesday, and the email notice today, Wednesday. I know over on reddit people were hand wringing over not having the email.
I believe 0x539 touched on it below, but there’s a new offer for the Apple Card. $200 for $2k spend within 90 days. Decent offer. Looks like it’s targeted per the T&C.
https://9to5mac.com/2023/06/15/apple-card-financing-sim-free-iphones/
this change has essentially made this card useless, no 0% financing without a carrier contract.
Card’s less useful knowing that you wont be able to 0% finance iphones. Such a shame, I was going to burn a slot for it when the 15 came around.
Why does that matter? I don’t see how 0% interest for a couple of years on 1k is worth a hard pull. $200 SUB is lowest hanging fruit.
That aspect was worth it to me. Hard pull is not that detrimental.
Is this offer for any purchase and you get $75 cash back?
