Just applied for the hell of it. Denied for the following:

Thank you for your interest in Apple Card. Goldman Sachs Bank USA has reviewed your application, and it was not approved at this time because:

Your TransUnion credit report shows payment history on your accounts is too low
Your TransUnion credit report shows you’ve had too many hard inquiries
Your TransUnion credit report shows payment on your revolving account(s) is too low

My AAOC is long and healthy. Must be all the Ink cards I’ve opened in the last 18 months or so? Can’t think of anything else.

At least it wasn’t a hard pull!

Still valid until 10/10 at the “new link” provided by DoC. Turn off ad-blocker if you are not seeing it when opening link. Did not show for me initially but did once disabling adblock.

Also regarding the specific terms: “Valid only for new Apple Card owners who (1) apply for a new Apple Card using the link [DoC LINKED ABOVE], (2) open an account by October 10, 2023 and (3) make a purchase within 30 days of account opening will earn $100 in Daily Cash. Limit one $100 Daily Cash bonus per new Apple Card account. For clarity, any purchase by Apple Card Family Participants and Co-Owners does not qualify. $100 Daily Cash is earned after the first purchase transaction posts to your new Apple Card account. A return of this purchase may result in a $100 Daily Cash adjustment charge to the new account. An additional purchase made during the offer period may qualify the new account for re-fulfillment of the $100 Daily Cash bonus, but re-fulfillment may be delayed. Changes to the new account status during the offer period may delay the fulfillment of the Daily Cash bonus. You can choose to direct Daily Cash to a Savings account or to an Apple Cash card. If you do not have either set up to receive your Daily Cash, it can be applied as statement credit upon request.”

While the landing page seems to suggest that the $100 is to buy Apple products, it would appear that any purchase will trigger the $100.

$100 SUB isn’t great in the grand scheme of things, but $100 SUB with only a $0.01 spend requirement is pretty much unbeatable free money.

Why is a $100 SUB any news? This is a terrible offer.

It might be a terrible offer for a typical Doc reader, but a huge deal for an average Apple user who might feel that it is fair to pay Apple $1000 (or $5000 in 2023 dollars) for the privilege to open the card 😉

Is that sarcasm? I am an avid Apple user and I will gladly pay Mr. Tim Apple 100$ to have their Apple label credit card.

For a very limited time, when you apply using the link below and open an Apple Card by October 10th, we’ll give you $100 Daily Cash when you make your first purchase within 30 days of opening the account.5 That’s $100 Daily Cash you can use towards iPhone 15, Apple Watch Ultra 2, or new AirPods Pro. And you’ll always earn 3% Daily Cash on purchases at Apple.

I never paid attention to this card before, but quick question, is Daily Cash actual money or just Apple cryptocash that you can only use for Apple products?

You can also transfer the cash to a Apple Savings account, and I assume to an external bank(?)

The bonus is only good for Apple products, so if you plan to buy apple products in the near future, you will get $100 off plus 3% on apple products

Isn’t it only good for those 3 products listed?
