Our Verdict

Similar to the Explorer offer we posted yesterday this requires a flight attendants ID, hopefully somebody shares some in the comments below. Standard increased offer has been 90,000 miles so this is an extra 10,000.Most people won’t be eligible due to the 5/24 rule. We will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

  • Just closed MileagePlus Explorer on April 30. I'm under 5/24 and aware of the 24 month wait language for obtaining another Explorer SUP, but is there anything preventing me from getting the Quest SUP immediately since they're different products?

  • I'd bite but unfortunately, I havent seen any good redemptions for TK or SQ using UA miles lately....unless Im doing something wrong.

  • Is it possible to double dip and use someone's referral link and the agent code?

    • Also, sharing an agent code I got. Was just approved for the Explorer with it, so not sure if it still works for other applications but sharing it just in case. UAP4H7.

  • Can Chase ultimate rewards points be transferred to United (and vice versa)?

  • I opened my Chase United Explorer card on April 3. Sent SM to Chase on May 1. Chase refused to match to higher offer. :( I thought their policy was to match for 30 days? Anything else I can do? I'm new to asking for bonus matching on credit cards. This was my first attempt. I'm sad they didn't match it.. considering I opened mine 28 days ago.

    • They have tightened up that timeline lately. With The CSP card, they only matched to about 10-14 days before it went live. I got mine 18 days before, and got denied.

    • Chase is not matching because they consider this refresh of united cards to be a different product with new annual fees

  • fwiw the first two bullet points after the annual fee are applicable to the old Quest card. the refreshed Quest card's benefits are a $200 travelbank credit annually, and one 10k award voucher annually after your first cardmember anniversary.

    • So... does that mean $200 (twice) if you keep it for 12-months and a day (then close)? Technically...

      • United would probably claw back the TB if you cancel the card after the first anniversary, tbh. Suppose you may be able to get away with booking a sub-$200 flight after first anniversary with the second-year $200 TB to turn into a FFC or something.

  • Does the code change with time. I'll need to apply on June 1 since I'm 5/24 now.
