Delta don't want anyone to jerk just Delta, so it wants some form of unilateral revenge?
A reasonable argument could be made that a horizontal agreement to restrain competition would undoubtedly violate Section 1 of the Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890 (15 U.S.C. § 1). https://www.justice.gov/archive/usao/usam/1997/1997ATRM.pdf
A reasonable argument could be made that this particular horizontal agreement neither has the purpose nor the significant effect of restraining competition. As a result, it is certainly doubtful whether that particular statute actually applies.
I'm just saying it's not definite.
Another bloated government attempt to attack their political enemies by preventing them from flying under a disguised reason.
"Nearly three quarters of formal passenger incidents reported to the FAA this year have centered on masks." https://viewfromthewing.com/democrat-lawmakers-with-beer-and-no-masks-fly-out-of-texas-to-halt-voting-bill/
Which article did you read??
How about a 'No-Fly- list for flight attendants. And a 'No-Counter' list for the creatures behind the counters.
Tell me you can't afford to fly Delta without telling me...
I fully support an industry-wide passenger blacklist programme, as long as it also includes an appeals process and lots and lots of outrage.
I had a Southwest flight attendant be extremely rude to me as he was trying to direct these girls he was trying to pick up to the seats I was about to sit in. He then preceded to be a ahole to me the entire flight while giving the girls free drinks and boring me with his talk to the girls once the flight was a half hour to landing they totally ignore him because he was ugly and they just wanted free drinks . Now think of some loser like this having the ability to ban you from every airline.
A passenger appeals court could make some great television.
I may have watched that TV pilot/premiere earlier this year...
Officer: How do you defend yourself against eating a jar of banana puree with your face-covering off?
Passenger: Goo-goo yoh-gah.
Officer: I order this passenger is too cute and that mean-spirit flight attendant be reassigned instead!
I'm just tired of having my taxes bailout airlines that treat people like cattle and lord their power over the passengers like autocrats.
