Our Verdict

Don’t think we’ve seen a button bonus from Southwest before, but other airlines have offered something similar.

Does it work for 2 RR accounts with the button installed on the same computer?

Stupid question but if you pick ebay or Amazon which gives 0% cash back, would they work for the purpose of this promotion?

Plus YMMV? I don’t see that promo anywhere.

I wonder if Amazon purchases qualify…that’s where most of our online spending goes.

If Amazon purchases counted for miles through a shopping portal with any major airline I’d be flying to Maldives in 1st class for free. In other words, wish it did but No. Amazon doesn’t have to for your shopping patronage or mine.

I did this back in July. It took about two weeks for the points to post. Easy 1,500 points.

What is a good way to spend $50 without loosing much value?

$50 gift card from giftcards.com. Also normally 0.5 pts/$1, increased to 1pt/$1. I’d suggest something that isn’t normally discounted elsewhere, like home depot, ebay or similar.
