I’m getting charged too. I was supposed to have free Uber Eats through May and it charged me 3/15/2022. Sent them a DM on Twitter ( @Uber_Support ) so we’ll see what happens.

Update: DM’ing Uber on Twitter worked (after I tried to find a resolution on their website for 10 minutes…)

Within 2 hours I got a response back from Uber and they said they canceled my Uber Eats pass and refunded the $9.99 charged to my card on file, and it would post in <1 week

Did anyone else get prematurely charged for the membership this week? The 6 months were supposed to last till 3/29, but I see I got charged $9.99 on 2/28. Uber’s support page makes is almost impossible to reach them with correct category.

My Amex trial had already expired for 2 weeks and I did not renew. Just tried the Hulu offer and I got 6 months of complimentary Eats Pass!

Got passes for P1-P4 accounts. No need to have sub with hulu.

1) use chrome incognito
2) use same emails as in uber eats
3) make sure you sing out of uber eats before doing steps bellow

Algorithm:
1) Click on link https://press.hulu.com/news/2021/09/28/hulu-and-uber-eats-announce-partnership-to-give-eligible-hulu-subscribers-six-months-of-complimentary-uber-eats-pass/
2) Click on “HuluUberEatsPass.com”
3) Click on “Start your free trial” -> “START YOUR FREE TRIAL”
4) Fill form and click ”Continue’
5) It will ask for credit card. CLOSE this chrome tab. But don’t close current chrome incognito session.
6) Repeat 1) and 2)
5) You will see “CLAIM MY UBER EATS PASS”. Click on it.
6) Sign in to Uber Eats
7) Click on “Get 6 month free”
8) Disable auto-renewal for your pass

Sorry, Eats Pass isn’t available to you right now. Just come off 1 year Amex and then 30 day free trial after that.

Same error for me. My free amex year of Eats Pass ended last month, and I hadn’t done a free trial of Eats Pass yet. So, I signed up for the free trial (so the message that “Eats Pass isn’t available to you” isn’t really true; I guess just doing the amex free year makes us ineligible for the Hulu offer).

Maybe the Hulu offer would work if you created a new Uber account (but if doing that, you’d probably just do the amex free year instead of the Hulu 6 months).

Doesn’t work for me, have the free trial through Amex which is about to end.

Worked with Hulu free trial. Remember to turn off auto-renew!

Great timing – AMEX 1 year Uber Eats Pass expired on the 27th since I canceled…tried to use this and got rejected/declined

It signed me up for a 1-month pass and not a 6-month pass. Annoying.

I pinged Uber about this. They said “I can confirm that you have opted in for the 6 month free trial Hulu Eats Pass.

Your renewal date will show the upcoming month in your app, however you will not be charged. After you have opted into the Eats Pass for 6 months, you will start being charged $9.99/month for the Eats Pass.”

Works for me, I’m still on the Black Friday Hulu deal from last November ($1.99 / month)

BF prior to that, it was $0.99/month. Do you think this BF it’s going to be $2.99/month?

Could be. They’re raising their monthly rates by $1 next month.

I had a non-paid account with HULU (Just a login and password) and was still able to get the 6 months free uber eats pass using the website listed in the post. I clicked on the button, it redirected me to the Uber website where I logged in and claimed it!
