If you’re into bank bonuses, then this was a great week. First of all we’ve completely refreshed our bank bonus page, so there should be no more expired listings (you can see a full list of the promotions that were extended here). Citi bank brought back their 30,000 American Airlines & 40,000 ThankYou point bonuses, which are even better consider the amount you can initially fund with a credit card. BMO Harris also released a $150 checking bonus that is pretty easy to complete and available nationwide. But Bank of America took things to a whole new level, they are offering a $2,000 business checking bonus and the requirements of $1,000 of that bonus is trivial to meet!
It was another slow and painful week for credit cards, first the limited good news: Bank of America now offers a business Spirit card with 15,000 mile bonus, we updated our list of churnable credit cards page and there is also a targeted bonus of $200 on the Bank of America travel rewards card. The bad news is that coming 2016, the Chase Sapphire cards will no longer receive 3x points on dining purchases the first Friday of every month and the American Express Flexperks card doesn’t count Kiva as a charity.
Everybody was expecting Amazon’s #Primeday to have a lot of killer deals, unfortunately that wasn’t the case at all. Fortunately for us American Express decided to launch Amex check out and give us $10 per account per merchant, which ended up being a fantastic deal. We showed you how to maximize these deals here and will have a further update today as some of these opportunities are no longer working. eBay also gives you the chance to win a gift card of $10+ just by spinning the wheel. Finally Both Southwest Airlines & American Airlines are offering 3,500 bonus miles when you spend a set amount using their shopping portals.

For your Weird Wednesday series, you might want to review the Bourns Employees FCU credit card.
Cash Rewards or Rewards. But the real reason to consider the Visa card is: fixed rates starting at 4.9% APR with no annual fee.
Join the California Consumers Council for $5 in order to qualify for this credit union (promo code "consumer" will probably make this free, as it works for the American Consumer Council). It looks like the same form, and almost exact same URL as for joining the American Consumer Council, and the ACC had Bourns listed in their list of affiliated credit unions.
