- Get a one-time $60 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $300+ in a single transaction at Grand Hyatt properties in the US, Mexico & Bahamas by September 30, 2019
The Fine Print
- Offer valid only at Grand Hyatt hotels in the US, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
- Reservations must be made directly with Hyatt via Hyatt.com, the World of Hyatt mobile app, a Grand Hyatt hotel, or a Hyatt call center.
- Excludes all other Hyatt properties, including Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Park Hyatt, Miraval, Exhale, Hyatt, Andaz, Hyatt Centric, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, Hyatt Zilara, Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Residence Club, Destination Hotels, Joie De Vivre, Alila, and Thompson Hotels.
- Offer not valid for purchases of gift cards, World of Hyatt Points, or Hyatt Gold Passport points.
- Excludes bookings made through MGM and via Hyatt Travel or Hyatt Vacations.
- Qualifying purchase means a purchase at Grand Hyatt made during the offer period with your enrolled American Express Card and which is in an amount of at least $300 USD, as posted to your account, following conversion from a foreign currency, if applicable, in accordance with your Cardmember Agreement.
- Offer only valid on room rate and room charges.
- Offer not valid for lodging stays that are paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date.
Our Verdict
As usual, gift card purchases will usually work as long as they are purchased from the front desk. Also, if your stay is after the end-date you should be able to call in and pay in full and it’ll trigger the offer.

DP - Went to front desk of Grand Hyatt Seattle and they said they don't sell gift cards and never have.
FYI GH Seattle has gift cards and Julie (front office manager) knows how to sell them.

Can I prepay incidentals charged to the room? Have a stay next summer on points. I'm sure we will rack up at least $300 in room charges
I got this offer on my Blue Business Cash card, but not on my Delta Skymiles card.
Why would you want it on your Delta Skymiles instead of BBP? 2x > 1x
Question: if I buy the gift card from a grand Hyatt front desk, this way I can get the Amex offer triggered and at the same time can use the gift card for Hyatt regency? Thank you
