    • Sign up for eStatements
    • Receive a direct deposit of at least $1,000 per month

The Fine Print

  • Offer for new checking members only and must be opened through Credit Union of Ohio’s online membership application
  • Promo code is 100.
  • To get $100, open a CUO checking bundle which includes Direct Deposit (with a minimum of $1,000 per month) and e-Statements.
  • Your $100 will be deposted into your new account within 90 days, once we have tracked your first direct deposit, and e-Statements have started.
  • Checking account must remain open for a minimum of 12 months or an early account closing fee will apply.
  • Direct Deposit and e-Statements must begin by April 29, 2016 to be eligible for the $100.
  • Offer is limited to one per household.
  • Offer subject to change at any time and expires March 31, 2016.
  • All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

Their free checking bundle doesn’t have any monthly fees or minimums. You do need to keep the account open for a minimum of twelve months otherwise you will forfeit the $100 sign up bonus.

Our Verdict

Really need to know if it’s soft/hard pull to determine if this bonus is worth considering. I like that there are no monthly fees to worry about though.
