A List Of Churnable Bank Account Bonuses

In this post we will look at bank account bonuses that are churnable (can be completed more than once). I’ve split the list into nationwide bonuses and state specific bonuses, this is by no means a comprehensive list, but I’ll add to it as I see new opportunities arise. In addition we will list the official churnable rules and also if they are churnable more often than what is listed.

Please make sure you always check the fine print of each offer, as they sometimes vary offer to offer. It’s always clearly spelled out in the fine print what the rules are.

Nationwide

Bank of America

Can’t have had an account within the last six months:

  • This offer is intended for new checking customers only; you are not eligible for this offer if you were a signer on or owner of a Bank of America personal checking account within the last six (6) months.

Chase

The official rule is that you can “You can receive only one new checking and one new savings account opening related bonus every two years from the last enrollment date and only one bonus per account.” Previously this was once every calendar year, it looks like the new rule is not back dated, for more information on that read this post here.

  • Regions Bank - Says $1000 qualifying direct deposit within 90 days of opening but to avoid fees it has to carry a balance of $1500. Does it normally mean if you are just starting to fund the account you will get charged the $8 before the balance gets to $1500?

    • This question would have been better served on the actual Regions post... @guest_2096133

But, they don't start charging the fee right away. Takes at least a month or two. In that time, you can start doing any $500 ACH in as your Direct Deposit and it will avoid the fee. Remove it once it shows as available. Just don't zero the account or they may close it.

    • If you see something that is incorrect, let us know and we can update it.

  • Fifth Third is 13 months now from last account. Wells Fargo is 12 months last bonus. @2

  • Text about BOA near the top says you can't have had an account for 6 months"

"This offer is intended for new checking customers only; you are not eligible for this offer if you were a signer on or owner of a Bank of America personal checking account within the last six (6) months."

On the current offer it's 12 months. @2

  • Closed p1 and p2 chime account in Jan/Feb of 2025 (swaybacks deal). Can you open new ones under Top Cash Back this soon?

    • Yes, some have been able to churn Chime, yes. Use a different email address than used previously at Chime. But, I haven't seen any TopCashBack (TCB) examples, specifically. @guest_2036608

  • Does anyone know if Citi is churnable? That was a really easy bonus and I want to do it again this year haha.

      • Call the bank. Look for the DP's you shared on DoC? If you can figure out when you opened it, some bonuses post like clockwork. (e.g. WF pays out 90-120 days from opening.)

        It's recommended to keep a spreadsheet. @guest_1995189

  • $300 Fifth Third bonus…

    1/1 $2,00x push from Skrill
    1/3 $300 bonus received

Never seen anyone here mention Skrill, so wanted to point it out that it codes as a DD at a ton of banks. It didn’t code as one at 53rd, but nothing did. It hasn’t failed me yet! Hopefully this post doesn’t cause a million ppl to abuse it and waste it, only do it if your original method doesn’t work. But in case of that, I’d say 90% chance it works for basically any bank.

    • Fair play. Don’t bother with other comments. We all are same churning family and do this.
Does it cost to use skrill transfer?
