The Offer
- Receive a bonus of $100 (plus another $5 for eStatements) when you open a new Advanced Premier Checking account after six months of active use on your account. Requirements are as follows:
- Customer is required to complete eight debit card transactions per statement cycle for first six months account is open AND pay three bills per statement cycle via WCB bill pay during the first six months account is open

- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
The monthly fee of $15 is waived with a direct deposit. I wasn’t able to find the fee schedule so I’m unsure if an early account termination fee is charged or not.
Our Verdict
Requirements for the bonus are way to much for the relatively small bonus on offer, having to do it for six months (and then needing a direct deposit to keep the account fee free?) that’s an easy pass from my point of view. You can see much better bonuses here.
