The Fine Print

  • Direct deposits need to be electronic deposit of your paycheck, pension or government benefit.
  • After the 60 day period and if all requirements are met the bonus will post within two statement cycles
  • Only one checking account related bonus percustomer per calendar year
  • All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

The easy green checking account does not have any monthly fees or minimum balance requirements. I wasn’t able to find the fee schedule, so I’m unsure if there is any early account termination fee or not.

Our Verdict

Too many requirements for a small bonus that requires in branch opening if you ask me. If anybody does go for this bonus, please let us know if it’s a soft/hard pull in the comments. You can view better checking bonuses by clicking here.
