Our Verdict

Better than the previous $200 public bonus and better than the current $150 Swagbucks bonus. Definitely worth doing if you’re an Ally auto customer.

  • Too late to edit my previous post, but I just learned that GM Financial is not the same as Ally Bank. Duh.

    • Can't get much quicker than that! I just got approved for an Ally auto loan, so I don't know my account number. Did they ask for yours when you applied?

  • Up next.. Ally Bank Mortgage Loan Customers $300 Checking Bonus

They need to just do GET300 without expiration date + referrals, no SB/MP strings and call it a day.

  • Last night I checked for Ally offers outside of the Swagbucks type of offer, and found nothing. Today I pulled the trigger on the $150 Swagbucks offer. Then I came here and saw $200.

Lucky for me I don't have the auto loan, or I'd have to feel sad.

  • I can't find anywhere in the fine print or T&C the minimum DD of $1500 shown in The Offer at a Glance section here. Am I missing something?

    • There’s no minimum amount that the DD should be. Hopefully it gets corrected in the post.

    • Depends on the rate someone obtained.
If you can't do better elsewhere, they're probably not worth paying the fees to move an auto loan. (e.g. $90 documentation fees for a new auto loan with a new lender)
