Unsure if there is any EATF or not

Our Verdict

Good bonus for the kids, not sure if it’ll still be a hard pull or not. Relatively rare we see any kids bonuses so will be added to our best checking bonus page

  • What is the impact of getting a hard pull on a bank account? The same as a credit card?

We have a new branch opening up near us within the application window. The kids could get a bonus and me too (they seem to have a new branch bonus, too). But I’d rather get a credit card bonus if it will hit my credit report the same way.

  • I think I might value a hard pull at more than $100. I'm 24, so would be eligible, but not sure it's worth it compared to a SUB which would be at least 2x as much for normal spend

  • There is a new branch in Southern Colorado offering a $200 checking bonus through the end of August, but it is sadly in new branch only. Haven't made it in yet, but might do so soon.

  • This is a CO state bonus only. You have to open the student checking account in branch.

    • you sure about that? It does say to schedule an apt, but you can open accounts online, so IDK if you are required to go in branch, it sounds like so long as you open a checking account and are between the ages of 18-24 you are automatically enrolled in the promo.

Only requirements are being elidable for Bellco membership and elidable to open checking account.
Of Bello membership their website says "You can join online or stop in any of our branch locations. There’s a share deposit, which is your ownership share in Bellco."

There are four simple ways to make the switch to Bellco:Organization Membership1: Live in select Colorado county

4: For interested parties outside of Colorado, we’ve got you covered. By joining the Bellco Foundation, you become eligible for Bellco membership. • I looked at the website and could not find anywhere to open this student checking account online. They do offer a button to schedule an in-branch appointment to open an account. Just to make sure I called their phone number and a very friendly representative stated that the account must be opened in branch. She also stated that she thinks there is no hard pull for opening this account.

        • I called as well and was told I could make a request for a virtual appointment, though I could not find it on the website as the agent said. In person appointments for new members are showing as 60 minutes

      • Looks in branch only. You go to apply online and all the other checking accounts listed have an open now button. The student checking has a learn more which takes you back to the page to schedule an appointment.

      • Looks like student checking can only be opened online. All other checking accounts have an "Open Now" button but Student Checking only has a "Learn More" button that leads to branch appointments/branch hours
