Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
Small business checking has no monthly fees to worry about.
Early Account Termination Fee
I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so unsure if there is any early account termination fee or not.
Our Verdict
Not sure how easy/difficult it is to get approved unfortunately. We will add this to our best bank account bonus page.

Does anyone have any idea on what is considered as Qualifying transactions? Is there any minimum requirement for the Transaction amount?
I was wondering the same thing. Did anyone find out what it means by "qualifying transactions"?
external transfers?
Are we opening the checking or savings account? Also what is the apy on each account?
Finally received approval and online banking access, but I cannot link an external bank account. Despite having a small business checking account visible in the online portal, I get some message: "You do not have accounts you could use for the payments. If Business account, ensure the business is selected as the client to view available business accounts."
Got the approval email and used the "Forgot my password" to reset the password and login to the account. However, nothing is showing up when I login and the webpage displays "We are experiencing a delay in loading accounts." Is this happening to anyone else?
Had the same problem and had to call them. You will likely have to call them too. Their system is very archaic. They didn't save the type of account I wanted so even though I have an online profile set up I still don't have an account. There is more paperwork to docusign and send back.
@guest_2096840 Does it work for you now?
same
Hmm, strange experience. Received email to setup OLB, and email requesting additional info at the same time. Called in to find out what's going on- CSR said account is opened, the additional info email was just automated email. Verified and provided with account # over phone. SP applied on 7/9.
DP from Pennsylvania:
2025/07/09: Submitted application for "small business checking" account.
2025/07/22: Received "Welcome to Pillur Online Banking" email.
Definitely a slow approval process. As "atl_dealhunter" commented below, I needed to call customer service to actually login to my account for the first time. The rep was very kind.
Notably, while I got approved for this account, my application to open an account at MSUFCU (with which Pillur is affiliated) was declined earlier this year.
I'm going to try for the $300 bonus. I'll report back with success/failure.
I've never had this much trouble linking banks. I've tried Open (Santander) and Wells, no luck. I can't get anything to appear on Pillur's website. Of course when I call in I'm told give it a few days to appear on Pillur, but that's not correct. Now I'm going to try the reverse. If I can't push money from one of these two I may just close the account. I have other accounts to use, but what a hassle.
I was able to add my Chase Business successfully and pull from Chase to Pillur. It also showed me option for Fidelity CMA but I didn't link that bank.
As far as I know, Chase hates ACH Pull from other banks. Be careful
Too late I think. I pulled it and now showing as hold in Pillur.
Thanks, I did also. I'll just have to move $ from Open to Chase, then to Pillur, but at least it'll work.
I finally got the invite to complete paperwork, so, progress.
Looks like Pillur is catching up and I see at least 2 of us got approved. As others mentionedm, in the initial email they will ask you to setup new login without giving you the account number. One choice is to call Customer Service, but I heard from the CSR is you just use your email address and then use the Forgot Password option to reset your password. You will be able to signup to your new account using this option without calling CSR.
Finally approved. I had to call in for my account number. Sole Prop in Florida.
@guest_2095460 Still no Chex pull? Thank you.
That is correct.
