The Fine Print
- Applicant must be eligible and qualify for membership.
- To obtain the $200 bonus, (1) open a consumer Savings and Checking Account between July 19, 2019 and September 30, 2019 by visiting DeltaCommunityCU.com/Welcome200 or presenting the invitation code when opening account at a Delta Community branch (offer not valid if not redeemed by one of these two methods), (2) make a deposit of at least $500 to Checking Account within 60 days of Checking Account opening, (3) maintain an average balance of $500 for the first 60 days of Checking Account opening – this amount can be aggregate between Savings, Checking or Money Market Accounts, and (4) make a minimum of five (5) Debit Card transactions at a minimum of $5.00 per transaction within the first 60 days of Checking Account opening.

Any DPs of getting this bonus with 10 debits all around $1.....or did they all have to be $5+?
I applied from OOS to Delta CCU this afternoon. App is pending. I selected Friends of the Foundation for my eligibility. Already donated $5 to FotF via GoWest in March during opening an account with On Tap CU. Hopefully that suffices for Delta CCU.

FYI all, I just received my latest EWS report and Delta CCU has started reporting account info.
Is that good or bad?
It’s bad for those that like to close accounts quickly after receiving a bonus. Accounts closed before 6 months hurt your EWS score, which then makes it harder to open accounts at other banks that pull EWS.
Do BMO and Wells Fargo report to EWS?

What was the date you completed your 10th debit card transaction?
Anyways they look to be random. This was my P2. P1 is still waiting for bonus who opened a day before P2.
Reviewing the terms they have 60 days from completion to reward the bonus but it's still strange how it's so sporadic.

I don't think that would matter as it's just a deposit but I used Capital One savings.

I originally received this ad/offer on IG and it directed me to the July300B page. I joined via Friends of the Foundation and I did not have to verify my membership though I hear others are having to do so.
Is there a certain amount you have to spend in the debit card transactions
If it's not stated in the terms then assume any debit transaction will work. Some will say "transactions of $5 or more." This one just says 10 debit transactions.
I've had at least one bank not state in terms but then tell me that it had to be a certain amount. I could do 5 to be safe. Hopefully not more
Sounds like a good plan. For most transactions I aim for $1+ though I did get the Truist bonus with transactions less than $1. Vending machines are a good go-to. Some people also say that cashapp reloads work. Relevant DoC post here.
Credit Card Funding is not available -- and per a search of comments on this post it has not been available for quite some time.
A lot of discussions about what promo code is correct. I applied through the DoC link, used code BONUS_300_97. Account was approved instantly. Received an email next day asking for DL, SSN, receipt of Friends of Foundation. Submitted and rep confirmed account is good and promotion was attached successfully, below is word to word from rep:

Have you received your debit card already? It's been 11 days I haven't received for either P1 or P2.
I got the card 08/07, account opened 07/28. So almost 2 weeks. I live in GA
It took me about 2 weeks to get mine. Opened account 7/14/25 and I didn't get the card until maybe the 28th or 29th.
Applied OOS using the Friends of the Foundation method - received an email the next day asking for proof of donation - sent a screenshot of the donation receipt. Approved the following day. Did not see any CC funding option.
There is no CCfunding option anymore.
