• Open a new active business checking account with Wellesley Bank and they will give you a bonus of $300 when you meet the following requirements:
  • Have five deposits/withdrawals within 45 days of account opening. Deposits/withdrawals include:  emote deposit capture transactions, direct deposits, wire transfers, business sweeps, and ACH originations

The Fine Print

• The $300 promotional offer will be offered through 8/31/17. To qualify for the $300, you must maintain an active business checking account.
• An active business checking will have five deposits/and or withdrawals within 45 days of account opening. Deposits and withdrawals include remote deposit capture transactions, direct deposits, wire transfers, business sweeps, and ACH originations.
• The $300 will be credited within 30 days after you met transaction requirements. Only new Business Relation Checking, Business Alliance Checking, Non-Profit Checking, and Non-Profit Premier Checking opened after 1/30/17 is eligible for this offer, cannot be combined with any other promotional offers, and is limited to one per tax identification number.
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule or find out what the monthly fee is for any of the business checking accounts.

Our Verdict

Another bonus we need to know a lot more about before passing judgement. Assuming it’s a soft pull and it isn’t difficult to keep the account fee free this looks like a relatively easy bonus to receive. Would also be good to know what sort of business documents they require. If anybody goes for this one please share your datapoints in the comments below. For now I won’t be adding it to the best business checking bonuses due to the uncertainty.
