Referral

To sign up you need to provide the person who referred you first and last name. Feel free to share this information in the comments if you’d like to refer people. Just please provide some useful information of your experience with Andigo as well.

Our Verdict

Pretty good bonus considering it’s a soft pull and you can fund with a credit card. Even better if you can do it with a friend and they are willing to split some of their referal money with you (please don’t do this in the comments, it’s too difficult to police for us). I’ll add this to our best checking bonus page.

  • Post as cash advance. $3k limit per application. Cash advance on chase hyatt and chase united business

  • Anyone gotten their bonus yet? I’ve done three Alliant ACH transfers, nothing yet,

    • Holy crap, mine posted today, too. Real DD's in May, June and July. Last DD on 7/10.

      • Uh oh. Guess I should assume mind didn’t work. Sigh. The language in the fine print doesn’t really state a deadline to complete the three DD. Wonder if I should change my work DD. Any thoughts, @will ?

        • I wouldn't worry just yet. I also did real DDs in April, May, June, July and nothing yet. Are you past 90 days from open?

          • Yes. Opened March 28– 109 days ago. First Alliant ACH, April 16– exactly 90 days from today.

          • @guest_616879
Did you end up getting the bonus, or did you end up selecting another source for DD?

          • So long ago! I *think* Andigo never posted then I got barred when I tried to open a second savings account for credit card funding.

  • Well, like Incredible Bank, this referral may be dead, too:

"Thank you for your inquiry. We are no longer offering a referral bonus. If you know anyone who would like to join please let them know that they can go to http://www.andigo.org and click on Andigo and they can click on become a member."

  • Referral name: Jeff Giesen

Thanks to those here who helped me navigate this credit union.

    • Hi, I just used your referral. A rep called me asking for your city. Would you be able to provide that? If not, that's o.k. I open it mainly for credit card funding.

  • Their lending dept called me Mon after denying me Fri and told me I could qualify for the sharefun bonus with a direct deposit or a loan! I said I was denied and she asked if I wanted her to look into it and then immediately asked if I knew why. I said I didn't know but Chex was mentioned in the letter attached to the email. It was amazing how fast she said have a nice day and then hung up, lol.

  • Just applied (WA state) and got the pending, we will call you message. Hoping that I don't get the denial email as fast as @MoreSun!

    • Be prepared for your denial rebuttal. I applied saying i live/work in the area. They denied me as I live in FL. Responded to denial email and provided info about my employer HQ in Chicago. Next day CSR lady called to ask about my inquiries (30+/12) and said I need a local bank when Im in town. Approved.

  • Applied from CA, received pending notice and email I will be contacted in 1 business day. Also chickened out on using the amex spend I working on right now due to the bank funding point crackdown and went Chase Freedom Unlimited, charge went pending as soon as I submitted it to Andigo. No fraud alert. Will post referral info if I get approved, fingers crossed!

    • Already received an email with my denial, the Notice of Adverse Action attached to the email mentions Chex. Will order my Chex and report back with total number of current inquiries. People have reported trouble getting the $3K charge to fall off of pending so I will report back on when that happens as well. Darn!

        • Interesting. Literally took 2 weeks to fall off of my SO's Citi DC MC. Not sure if that was Andigo or Citi's fault. Probably Citi being sChiti. SO got denied for chex, but her chex is way cleaner than mine. Go figure. I think they were referral blocking me but couldn't say that.

I applied for an add-on Certificate tonight, and showing $3K pending purchase on my NFCU Flagship Rewards Visa. Fingers crossed. Sucks having to tie up 3K for 6 months in a CD, but whatever, I wanted to get the spend done, and BBVA only got me to $500 on a 2nd savings. I am too lazy to MS when not in my PJ's - buying Prepaids is not for me.

EDIT: Interesting - looks like the penalty for early withdrawal is just loss of interest - not loss of principal or fees. A 6 month CD is only paying .54%.

          • NFCU Flagship Rewards did not give "Transaction Rewards" points for the $3K, so even though it didn't code as a cash advance, it didn't help with MSR. Oddly enough, BBVA Compass $500 did count, but the cap is way too low. Disappointing to say the least.

          • That penalty is lower than Plastiq or tax payments! The other DPs I'd seen of people who had problems with the charge falling off weren't using Chase cards so maybe it has something to do with Chase's rules...

        • Opened 3 BMO accounts recently, idk if that hits 3 times or 1 (my latest chex is on the way) if they hit once I'm 2/3, 2/6, 28/12. Dang, seeing that x/12 number makes miss M&T again!
