  • So, are we all now in agreement, Citi Strata Elite did not happen as rumored on 7/20, but is now rumored for 7/27? Again, Sundays are odd for in-branch since none are open. Citi isn't TD Bank.

    • Citi in Chinatown is open on Sunday.

It will be funny if nothing happens on 7/27, and then certain people claim the launch is on 8/3, 8/10, 8/17, 8/24, etc.

      • You sure about that? If you’re referring to Chinatown in NYC, like, the branch at 2 Mott St. (or Canal), I think it’s open Saturdays (limited times), but not Sundays. Maybe you were just joking, or meant SF, or elsewhere.

As to the rolling delay, yeah, that sounds about right. Just like when the airlines delay hour-by-hour, then cancel at 2AM. No voucher. Good luck!

        • Maybe it used to be? I thought it was, and someone in the other post said they were open.

It is strange that Citi would launch a card on the day most branches are closed. A Monday or Tuesday make more sense.

          • I’m not sure anyone knows anything for sure about any of this. Who knows, maybe Citi won’t even launch it, especially after everyone on here ripped the idea apart.

          • I personally don't care for this card all that much. I'd be more interested in the Citi Dividend card coming back. Or Citi could allow us to PC to the Citi Dividend card. The Dividend card would be at the top of my list of cards to get, if it came back.
