I was timing this bonus from a long time as I earn <$2500 each pay check. Sofi kept the terms very tricky. You should get you 2nd DD within 25 calendar days when you make the 1st DD. Luckily I did overtime in my job for last month and got both the pay check well above $2500. I believe Sofi bonus is once per lifetime, hence plan wisely.
Account opened through Swagbucks on 03/10.
1st Real DD on 3/20 >$2500
2nd Real DD on 4/3 >$2500
Got the $300 bonus on 4/14 and Swagbucks $200 is pending and shows Credit in 8 days.
Waited patiently and got paid off with easy $500. thanks DoC and readers for all your help.

I have a sole proprietor Chase Business checking account. Can I use Chase ACH Payment Services to make a payment to myself as an employee? Thanks!

Has anyone tried a push from a US Bank business checking account?

I had $5003 deposited from my tax refund into the checking account, under category it defaults to “transfers”, is there any way to tell if that counted for the direct deposit requirement?

Can you DD into Savings and still qualify for the $300?

How long can you leave your account open before you can close it?

Hoping I can squeeze that 5k in, should be able to hit that on the day 28 mark from three real employer DDs, but know SoFi can be a stickler at times. Also if anyone wants $25 from a referral link shoot me a reply!

It’s 25, not 30 days, so the 28 will be outside of the timeframe. I have the same problem.

That’s so tough, only $50 for me then 🙁 I unfortunately don’t make 5k in two DDs after taxes/retirement. But I know SoFi is near impossible to fake DD with (I think just Chase Business payroll)

you can always adjust your retirement contribution so you hit the $5K DD limit

Yeah that’s true, I’d have to calculate the opportunity cost of losing x% of my match for two paychecks vs. the $250 gained from the SoFi bonus

Wouldn’t you get the match back if you increased contributions above your baseline for a few paychecks?

You know what I think you’re correct, as I think matches are still on an annual basis. For some reason it was stuck in my head that it’s “use it or lose it” per paycheck. Anyways, too late to save me now but definitely helpful to know for the future

Unfortunately… I got denied for chase on both P1 and P2. I’ll probably give it a try with some other business account, but I have low expectations from all the data points I see.
