Perhaps Unusual situation:
Closed account 21 June 2022.
10 Nov 2023 opened new acct with Fall 2023 promo, reflecting no account since 1 Spet 2022.
Fulfilled all requirements, showed successful on tracker. No bonus paid. Inquiry to 800# and branch: their records show cannot have account 1 June 22 though tracker online has different language visible with 1 Sept 22 displayed. Same for P2. Opened case internally with banker, takes 5-7 days.

I’m patient since I have the public language on my side, but curious if anyone else had similar experience.

Tried to apply online. Got an error that my application could not be completed– that I should call the phone # or go in-branch.

Called the phone number, and they can’t do applications with the generic promo code– they could only do it with personal ones mailed/marketed to folks.

did you have your credit reports frozen? i got this error when reports were frozen. i think i unfroze experian, but not sure and was approved.

Same here. Was not able to open online and when I tried to open in branch, banker said there was no promo code in their system for public application. I showed her the webpage but from her end, no webpage was available for this offer.

I had a Regions bank account 9 years ago and she checked for me that there was no offers available in my account for new checking bonus. It seems like this is only target offers in person unless opening online? BTW I never froze any credit reports.

I never got the email confirmation after I registered for the code.
it has been 24+ hrs.
Tried to call their support line and they could not see my status either.
should I try the branch if they can help out?
Somebody mentioned making appt with a licensed banker. How do you do that?

Wait at least a few days before you start doing any of that.

In online banking, click the “Customer Service” tab, then “My offer tracker”.

This stuff takes more than 25hrs sometimes. My checking and savings both took 3-5 days to show/update up on the tracker.

I was able to enroll online (Chrome iOS) with no issues, churning with the same email address & online banking login I used last time. 0/6 6/12 EWS.

P2 got a $500 mailer yesterday for the same minimum requirements having never been a Regions customer before. Just a heads up to keep your eyes open for the snail mail.
