Best Posts Last Week: Credit Card Spreadsheet, AmEx Changes, Chase Changes & More

Sirtheta put together a massive resource last week with a spreadsheet of current & recent credit card sign up bonuses, make sure you share it and visit it often and I’ll make sure it’s keep updated. Now let’s move onto this week’s news. In the credit card world it was all about American Express, at their investor conference they discussed their plants to fight the gaming of credit card rewards.

They also announced new benefits coming to the business platinum earlier in the week (annual fee will be staying at $450). They are changing guest access to Centurion lounges to be a maximum of two guests, bad news for families but might be useful for those who weren’t use the family member benefit if it helps to remove congestion. American Express also have an offer for 60,000 miles + $50 on the Delta Gold cards (although not everybody is eligible). Chase also made a number of changes in branch yesterday, so read our post on that here.

Bank of Colorado has a new $200 bonus with no requirements for those in NM, NE, WY or CO.  MB Financial has a business checking bonus of $350 for those in IL, IN & PA. It was a relatively slow week for deals, but there was still some good value & freebies to be had. Kroger are offering 4x Fuel points on gift cards until March 22nd, Ebates are offering new members a $25 bonus when switching over from Splender & Discover cardholders can get a free $10 for Kohl’s.
