We’ve discussed Uber Plus before, basically you pay a fixed amount and receive cheap Uber Pool/UberX rides for the month (up to a limit). These passes seem to be available again, but only for selected users (make sure your app has been fully updated, if you still don’t get the option then it seems like you are not targeted. If you get the option of being notified when it comes back, I’d recommend selecting that).
20 ride pass will cost you $10 and 40 ride pass will cost you $20. Pretty insane deal if you use Uber even semi regularly.
- NYC: $2.99 uberPOOL & $7.99 UberX
- Los Angeles: $4.99 uberPOOL & $7.49 UberX
- Boston: $7.99 for uberX, $4.99 for uberPOOL
- Chicago: $2.99 uberPOOL & $5.99 UberX
- San Diego: Unknown rates
- San Francisco: $2.49 uberPOOL & $4.99 uberX (others saw $2.99/$6.99)
- Seattle: $2.49 uberPOOL & $4.49 uberX
- Washington D.C: $2.49 uberPOOL, $4.49 uberX
If you successfully buy a pass, let us know in the comments. You can view the rates offered last month here. I really don’t know why Uber don’t make these passes easier to purchase (even if they make them significantly more expensive). I assume the point is to make Uber people’s daily commute but that’s difficult to do if people are unsure they’ll actually be able to buy the passes.
