The Offer
There’s another (new?) Giftcardmall site I don’t recall seeing before offering discounts on a few gift card brands:
- 10% off $50 Whole Foods e-gift cards
- Get $5 bonus for every $50 in Gamestop e-gift cards purchased
- 10% off $50 in JCPenney e-gift cards
- Get $5 bonus for every $50 in Regal Entertainment e-gift cards purchased
And here’s a few deals from Kroger/Giftcardmall:
- $10 off $50 Applebee’s e-gift
- $5 off $25 Burger King e-gift
- 20% off $50 in Red Robin e-gift
- $5 off $25 Steak N Shake e-gift
The Fine Print
- These deals each have various limits mentioned on their pages
Our Verdict
The 10% off Whole Foods and Gamestop might be the most interesting, some of the other discounts are good as well. Not sure if there’s any category bonus on these sites (see this post for a bit of discussion). You can try going through a portal for Giftcardmall, but I assume that won’t work.
Hat tip to reader Jeremy
For the Whole Foods gift cards that I ordered from the BHN – none of the links to the GC would open. The e-GiftCard links to a sendgrid.net URL that gives an HTTPS error and then a 404 error. I even had Customer Support re-send me the email. No go.
I had to get them to process a refund. Such a shame.
funny thing, I’ve had fairly good experience this past year buying directly from giftcardmall. But when I try to log on via Kroger (and use my GCM credentials, as directed), it doesn’t recognize me. Have no idea what’s afoot. Any similar experiences/suggestions out there? (I’m loathe to go changing my GCM password, given that it’s worked well when buying direct)
My GCM login doesn’t work either. I am not sure if this site is connected to the same back-end as normal GCM site.
The BHN site isn’t new from what I remember. They have a bunch of these subdomains. I found this site and shared with DOC by using a simple google search:
site:hawkcards.com -inurl:www -inurl:kroger -inurl:
You can add more filters using what was found in the first search by just adding more -inurl:’s as seen above. This way you can kinda narrow it down
BTW, blackhawk seems to have a lot of their internal testing sites exposed to the internet. I have found that this site actually lists most of the blackhawk deals on the different sites: https://us4.nimblebuy.com
Whole Foods discount is showing me $5 off $50, not $10.
EDIT — I misread your post; it correctly says 10% off, not $10.
Does this site code as groceries for AMEX?
Lowe’s gift card on Samsung Pay. 10% off. This time they are selling $100.
I’m guessing the Kroger site does NOT code as groceries for Chase Freedom? Any have a data point?
Confirmed it doesn’t code as grocery, but I can confirm it codes as 3x for CIP.
No personal experience, but from what I’ve heard, ordering gift cards from Kroger.com does not code as groceries since it is fulfilled by giftcardmall. Doesn’t earn Kroger fuel points either.
Does GCM also cancel orders for these types of gift cards for no reason?
Most of us can’t even get far enough to place an order in the first place
Why is that? Are you blocked by IP address? Can you use a proxy/VPN service to get around that? Not that it is worth it, but just curious
Thanks, Chuck! Appreciate all your work on the site.
This is very helpful info.
This is an e-card, so all you need is a valid e-mail address and valid CC + name and address that goes with the CC
