I was having the same issues as others last week when this offer first came through my email — I get the paypal processing email but errors. However, I was able to successfully get the offer today through paypal. I think likely they fixed an issue.

Is anyone else having issues when paying with paypal + Ink? My payment keeps erroring out. Paypal authorizes the payment, but the swych and gyft servers have issues. Gyft was not very helpful thus far.

Paypal message: “You authorized a transaction to Gyft. Money won’t leave your account until Gyft processes your order.”

This would be great if Gyft actually worked. 50% of the time I try to purchase gcs there are issues with authorization and delivery. Just tried the Whole Foods deal – same issues….

I have found that if I 1) don’t try to use a credit card of a spouse or family member and 2) save the card in my profile and/or use the same one I used before– if I do this it is 100% success.

I use my PayPal account to get the 5x points. Same process every time. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Dunno!

Let me know if you get it to work. I have been getting the server error for the last few days. Getting kind of annoying. It’s definitely gyft…. Paypal authorizes everything just fine.

I hear about these issues but never had them myself… and I always use a different Visa GC… never had an issue.
Maybe call them to see if there is some kind of a warming on your account?

I contacted them through help. They said it was a paypal issue…. Contacted paypal, they said everything is fine on their end, Gyft just needs to accept the payment. Their support was not very helpful. I only use Gyft every so often. Especially for ebay gift cards at 5xUR without stopping at a staples. Was nice and convenient.

Didn’t work for me. Gyft is basically a gift card window shopping app.
