Our Verdict

Not the biggest discount, we’ve recently seen a lot of 10% off at Raise but they seem to be really pumping out the promotions lately. The better brands/discounted cards usually sell out quickly so best to shop early if at all.  Try using a shopping portal on the purchase. Keep in mind the lifetime limits though. Use the mobile app with Paypal payment to get 5x with the Freedom card this quarter (website doesn’t accept Paypal, but app does).

Raise is running a promotion today, 5% off Uber (maximum savings $15). it is possible to find UBER cards with 3.9 to 4.0% discount + 5% promotion + 5% freedom using PayPal payment through the app. This is a decent 13 to 14% discount. I guess this can be useful for UBER users.

The code is: UBERGO

As always, regular discounts are lowered because of this promotion.

Jerry M I can tell you as a Raise seller that I haven’t found the discount being lowered much at all since the biggest driver of the seller motivation to keep a high discounts is more about competing with other sellers than it is about enticing the buyer. That competition factor doesn’t change when there’s a sale – we all still want our cards on top which happens when it has the highest discount.
The reason discounts may not be as good is probably more to do with inventory being depleted, leaving lower-discounted cards.

Does raise let you change the listing price after you list it. I always wonder because when they have a 10 off 100 sale or something like that , nobody lists their cards at 100. It is always 98.99. It is so frustrating looking that I always give up.
