The Offer
- Disney+ is offering a Cyber Monday $10 discount on annual membership. Cost is $59.99 instead of $69.99.
Our Verdict
Nice little savings if you’re interested in the new service. Go through Ebates or Mrrebates to get an additional $10 back (hopefully it’ll stack).
Hat tip to Dansdeals
Ibotta has 75% today on Disney+ and the Disney+/ESPN/Hulu bundle, but it seems to be essentially applied to about 1 month as it is capped at $10 for the annual plan. For 1 month it seems like a decent deal but maybe they always have this?
I got an email about it but it also comes up if I search in Ibotta. Does anyone know if the Chase Disney Debit card gets any benefit on Disney+? I can’t see it.
This seems to be a general offer in Ibotta as P2 has it and did not get an email. Bundle is $12.99, I got $9.74 back a week later in Ibotta so net is $3.25 for a month.
I don’t know if I’ll get the Chase cashback yet. ESPN+ seems to be waste of time as it seems to include nothing that is on the real ESPN channels, and the HULU is the stupid version with ads.
My annual subscription purchased through the ebates/MR option portal has not tracked, even with a ticket sent in. Been 3 weeks.
What is strange, the Disney+ order confirmation has no # on it, even though its all working properly. I suspect that is causing part of the problems. Ebates/rakuten can better fix issues if there is an order id to hunt down through the link network.
Any suggestions on how to get this to track?
Did you have any luck with this? I’m having an issue with Rakuten not tracking this purchase now.

Rakuten did not track the cashback yet. I am seeing $0 at this moment. Anyone else has this tracked correctly with $10?
Same…
Same for me as well still… it has the cashback check mark, but indicates:
Store: Disney+
Order Amount: $0.00
Cash Back Amount: $0
I hope they don’t try and say it doesn’t qualify since it’s an annual purchase so technically not a monthly subscription… I stupidly immediately unsubscribed from the auto renewal and then noticed the terms included language to prevent CB on that
“Cash Back is not eligible if monthly membership is purchased then canceled to upgrade to a one-year subscription.”
Hopefully it’ll be updated after a few more days/weeks; I don’t know what to expect on timing, but will update here if it does.
I clicked through an option that included the yearly black friday cost, but I think it did say up to $10 off. so who knows.
FWIW, I got impatient and just submitted a missing cash back claim and immediately after hitting the “find my cash back” link, I received a message:
“We’ve Just Added $10.00 Cash Back to Your Account
Disney+ usually reports orders to us within a day of the purchase date. Although they haven’t reported your order yet, we’re happy to get this Cash Back into your account now.”
YMMV, but figured it would be worth sharing. I also converted my account to MR prior to purchase and in the “earnings balance” info it shows 1,000 points on purchase now, but it doesn’t yet indicate them in my actual points balance yet.
FWIW, the 1000 points posted the next day for me.
Interestingly enough, I just received an email from Ebates today saying 1000 points posted, so I checked my balance and I currently have both posted on 12/2 for 2000 total points…
I’m sure they’re going to correct this at some point before the cash out date, but thought I’d share to confirm that Disney+ finally seems to have officially tracked even without the need to request manually so if you held off on request, check your account today to see if it posted.
You can also pay with Paypal tied to a Chase Freedom and get 5% cash back.
On top of the stack with Rakuten/Ebates this counts as streaming category for Amex BCP, thus earning 6% back. I verified in the terms on their site that they updated the list with Disney+.
Does anyone know if this would code as a streaming service if I use my us bank cash+ card?
Can anyone have an iTunes billing or do you need to have an iPhone?
While $60 is good, it doesn’t beat < $56 that I got stacking few other deals.
I subscribed to the yearly subscription using iTunes gift cards bought at 20% off from Costco ($100 for $80). And more because I acquired those Costco cash cards at 5% off.
How did you acquire the cash cards at 5% off?
My ideas:
1) You can buy them from the store through Chase Pay+Samsung Pay
2) Buy MC/Visa giftcards from a rotating category store and buy the cash cards online (that is 5%-1% (fee))

FYI, Acorns offer is only good on the $12.99 bundle
You’re right.
