There’s no hard pull when you open an account, but you do need to give in your name, DOB, SSN, and address in order to open an account. And you need to invest $50 in order to be eligible for the $50 bonus.

Our Verdict
I’m not an investment guru to evaluate efficacy of Swell’s investment strategy, so obviously do your own research and make your own decision about whether investing with Swell is a good idea. It’s certainly a sweet signup offer. From what I’m told, the offer should be around until at least mid-November.
