Update 10/16/18: They’ve now added a limit of 18 referrals. They also added language to require the new member to remain investors for 60 days before payout occurs. Update 10/18/18: Now says 90 days.

The Offer

• Signup for Swell Investing, invest $50, and get a $50 bonus added to your account.
• Once signed up, you’ll be able to refer friends and get $300 when referring 3 friends. No limit to referral bonuses.

There’s no hard pull when you open an account, but you do need to give in your name, DOB, SSN, and address in order to open an account. And you need to invest $50 in order to be eligible for the $50 bonus.

Swell Investing is an impact-investing platform that helps you invest in high-growth companies solving global challenges like renewable energy or disease eradication.

Our Verdict

I’m not an investment guru to evaluate efficacy of Swell’s investment strategy, so obviously do your own research and make your own decision about whether investing with Swell is a good idea. It’s certainly a sweet signup offer. From what I’m told, the offer should be around until at least mid-November.
