Update 2/26/24: Deal is back again at 130% (ht Carlos)
Contents
The Offer
- Topcashback is offering 130% cashback on new customers to PureVPN.
Our Verdict
You can buy a 27-month plan for $53.95 and make around $11 profit. There’s always the risk of something going wrong with the portal tracking, but I am seeing a 31-day guarantee from the VPN so if it doesn’t track you should be able to cancel.
Just make sure to use no a card with no foreign transaction fee as the charge comes from HongKong.
Deal History:
- Update 1/24/24: Deal is back at 130%
- Update 11/1/23: Back at 120%
- Update 7/28/23: Up to 130% now
- Update 1/25/23: Reduced to 120%
- Update 12/24/22: Offer is back again at 140% (ht ShawntheShawn). Cost is $23.88 so it should be like a $9-$10 moneymaker. (I’m not sure if all of the add-ons will get cashback; that would spruce up the moneymaker considerably if it does.)
- Update 11/28/22: Back up to 140%. Hat tip to Dominique
- Update 11/26/22: Down to 120% now
- Update 11/25/22: It’s up to 140% now (ht Davis), though the cost is half-price so the profit now is actually a little lower at around $9-$10 profit.
Anyone how we can cancel the auto-renewal subscription?
VPN order not tracked
not tracked
Can confirm that add ons don’t track. Just the vpn
did this a couple weeks back, would i be able to do this deal again with another a new PureVPN account, but the same TCB account?
did this a couple weeks back, can we do this again w/ a different e-mail for a new account at PureVPN but same account at TCB?
Not sure, but you should probably try to use different TCB accounts.
Tried paying with prepaid card through PayPal. Can confirm that it did not work like the other poster said. Default payment was my bank account and backup was my preferred payment method or credit card on file.
If the product is free…
At 11:30am est I did the $108 2 yr plan deal, for$140 cashback. It finally posted as pending about 4 hours later on TCB. Along with the $2.50 bonus. 🙌 Heads up: my Citi card blocked the txn at first since the business is registered in Hong Kong apparently. (Which may make many uneasy. But counterintuitively, as a westerner, I feel like the PRC is the most benign govt to seize/harvest my data — if it comes down to it. Hopefully they don’t lol.)
Great timing since PIA was going to raise their price to $50/yr on me after being grandfathered in for 3 years at $32/yr. Smh at moat-less companies messing with their golden gooses to try and make the line on the chart go up every year. Peace out dummies ✌🏻
I’m getting a popup saying “Error detected: We cannot process your order at this time” when I go to pay. I’m not sure if it’s a problem on my end or theirs
