This offer is sold via cash star, in previous offerings this did not code as a Staples purchase so you will not earn 5x points for office supply stores. You cannot use Staples gift cards to purchase other gift cards online or in store anymore.
Since this is an eGiftcard your best bet would be to sell to SaveYa or Giftcards.com for 86.5% of face value which would net you a profit of $1.5 + whatever credit card points you earned Giftcards.com doesn’t purchase eGiftcards for Staples, so this reselling opportunity isn’t available. You can also shop through a shopping portal to get another 2% cash back (topcashback is the highest rate). You’ll obviously benefit the most out of this if you have regular purchases you need to make at Staples as unloading these cards
